This Ghost Has High Hopes

Woke up from a good night’s sleep. I was excited to register our SmartBro to UNLISURF and go crazy online on Facebook, visit my games, download music, watch MVs and watch…some interesting movies. ;D

Then I set up this Tumblr account, a blog/online journal. I’ve always wanted to have a journal in like, forever. Years ago, I’d be writing all about me and my day in one of those thick hardcover notebooks with the cool lock. Inside, I’d write whatever the hell I want, draw, and put in my deepest darkest secrets. THAT never happened. First off, I’d get tired maintaining the thing after three entries. Second, writing by hand was B-O-R-I-N-G. Third, what was the point in writing if nobody was allowed to read it?

Hence, an online diary in Tumblr! Yey!

I saw this really nice 30 Days, 30 Letters in a Facebook note by Jev. Basically, everyday you’d be writing about one of the 30 topics in there. That seemed like a good start to maintain and still get interested in my Tumblr. Thanks for the A-okay, Jev! :D

I spent the whole morning in FB, so engrossed on what I missed that weekend that I forgot to do my laundry. So I did that, took a shower and because I was starving, ate lunch. I didn’t get to show off my culinary skills since Kuya Marvin, my cousin already cooked. Which was just as well coz the last time I worked the stove, I barely recognized the chicken hotdog after I was done frying it. XD

Anyway, after lunch I was texting Jonalyn (the mermaid who’s now Budyong EIC) while I listened to my playlist. She told me Patrixia Santos, this local beauty queen/BU student I knew back when I was still in college was hit by a motorcycle. I told her, “Di na safe ang mga taga-BU ah, kadamu naaaksidente or nakukulugan.” And the mermaid agreed with me.
Then, I said maybe I won’t be able to visit her and the others at BU when I get home in September for my niece’s 1st birthday. We’ll be in Bicol only two days at least and then it’s back to Manila and job hunting (or hopefully, settling into REAL work) for me.

Jonalyn replied instantly in her typical way: “Huh? Nakay di ka makakadi? Anu man yan? Magkadi ka! Eh di magpawalat ka. Duh. Makasolo ka man pa-Manila.”

I have to smile. It’s good to be missed. :D
